Dr. Kari Wallentine graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Additionally, she holds a Masters's Degree(2008) from K-State in Animal Sciences, emphasizing animal behavior. Her veterinary career began in academia, having taught college-level courses and provided guest lectures to the university and various community organizations since 2004. Although this is Dr. Wallentine’s first time in practice, she has found her happy place! She’s excited and eager to learn under the mentorship of Dr. K. Dr. Wallentine loves teaching and looks forward to continuing in this vein by sharing her expertise with her patients and their people. Her favorite areas of interest are preventive medicine, animal behavior, and welfare, the human-animal bond, and public health. Dr. Wallentine spends her time outside of the clinic with her husband (Todd) and daughter (Sophia). She also enjoys doing arts/crafts, exercising, reading, cooking, watching movies, and playing games with her daughter.
