Dr. Trisha Kvasnica

After graduation from KSU in 2000, Dr. K started her career in corporate medicine working for Banfield in Kansas City, and VCA in Dallas before moving back to Manhappiness (her favorite town in the world!) in 2005. After holding associate positions in other clinics in town, she started her own house-call business offering home euthanasia and routine pet care. She also served at Vetco, the veterinary branch of Petco, as Chief of Staff. Now she is finally pursuing her dream  in the new challenge of practice ownership in her own clinic!  In her copious spare time (ha, ha...), she enjoys spending time with her kids and husband, Andrew, taking road trips, gardening and scrapbooking. Dr K enjoys working with exotic animals, geriatric animals, dentistry, and surgery. And who doesn't love a cute puppy!

    Kari Wallentine
    Veterinary Assistant

    Dr. Kari Wallentine graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Additionally, she holds a Masters's Degree(2008) from K-State in Animal Sciences, emphasizing animal behavior. Her veterinary career began in academia, having taught college-level courses and provided guest lectures to the university and various community organizations since 2004. Although this is Dr. Wallentine’s first time in practice, she has found her happy place! She’s excited and eager to learn under the mentorship of Dr. K. Dr. Wallentine loves teaching and looks forward to continuing in this vein by sharing her expertise with her patients and their people. Her favorite areas of interest are preventive medicine, animal behavior, and welfare, the human-animal bond, and public health. Dr. Wallentine spends her time outside of the clinic with her husband (Todd) and daughter (Sophia). She also enjoys doing arts/crafts, exercising, reading, cooking, watching movies, and playing games with her daughter.
